It was reported today that the Denver Broncos traded newly acquired receiver Keary Colbert to the Seattle Seahawks for a “late round” draft pick.

Denver picked up Colbert in the 2008 off season as a free-agent. The details are a little sketchy but with the play of rookie Eddie Royal, the return of Brandon Marshall and a deep receiving corps with Brandon Stokley, Darrell Jackson and tight end Tony Schefller this is not that shocking. I wish Colbert well and sort of feel a little bummed we never saw him showcase his skills in Denver.
