May 29, 2008 — MikeJay Cutler is the latest in a long line of quarterbacks to hit Denver since John Elway retired. Many have come in as the new field general for the team since #7 hung them up in 1999 and up until now the success has been moderate at best. Brian Griese, Jake Plummer and a slew of journeyman backups have tried and failed.
